Check if the webappsstore.sqlite database is not corrupted or broken
(you can find it in your profile directory):
$ sqlite3 webappsstore.sqlite
sqlite> select * from webappsstore2;
this will return all results for localstorage. if no result is returned,
firefox must have purged it for no reason.
