I'm having the same problem with a HP dv9500. I am experiencing the
same exact symptoms as Mathieu Marquer (thanks!).
Basically I have to hold down space bar, or any other key, in order to
keep the boot proc
I had this same issue on a dv9500 installing a Hardy beta from 2 weeks
ago. I am going to give the final release a shot but I wanted to add
one thing.
I too thought it was hung, when in fact I realized that if I pressed
enter I was actually at a prompt - so it seems the installer punted in a
