nautilus crashed. The crashes continue but apport isn't seeing them
anymore. I assume the other bug has more relevant information so please
keep comments there initially.

I've just tried to reproduce this problem in Ubuntu 10.10 and can't. So
I'm marking this as 'invalid' for "Synaptic in Ubuntu". Please reopen
this if you can reproduce this issue.
I have not checked this with the default update-manager dialog. It would
be good someone could check that.

@Vladimir - are you expecting file-roller to let you open and edit
individual files which are part of the ISO image? You need to extract
the file to be able to open it. Then you can open it with the correct
application.

Why has this bug gone from status Incomplete → Expired when I can
see that gnome-bugs #608868 still has the status as Incomplete? I'd love
an explanation if anyone has one, otherwise I'd better report this as a

I'm now running Ubuntu 10.10 and can't see any great difference in the UI.
There is still no link between the search interface and the setting interface.
So my original bug is still valid in my view.

Not surprisingly I am now unwilling to recreate the environment needed
to reproduce this bug. I no longer have 8.10 running on a machine.
Sorry about that. Maybe thus bug can serve as an example of which logs
