I have been running xcircuit without problems on Dapper. However, after
upgrading to Edgy it has become stable. I can run it and use it, but
after a few seconds it crashes. I suspect it may be an issued with
running Ubuntu amd64 on an Intel 64bi

Yes, the problem is that Tilda changed the config file format. The new
config files are very different from the old ones. The upgrade should
provide some automatic configuration file converter.

In Preferences, Away/Idle, the "Change status to:" dropdown is empty. I created
a custom away message, but it is still empty.

The post install script for apport tries to call "/etc/init.d/apport start"
however, it apport is already running this fails causing the package install to
fail.
Simply calling "/etc/init.d/apport stop" first would fix this.

I am encountering the same problem after apt-get upgrade today. The error is
caused by log_daemon_msg() and log_end_msg() function calls in
/etc/init.d/mdadm.
However, I can not tell why this function is raising an error.
I am running Edgy on i686 machine.

Further testing shows this bug in only some themes. Clearlooks and
Human for instance show the bug, while Crux, LargePrint, and all Xfce
themes do not.

The net load applet is supposed to have different colors for the
incoming and outgoing bars (applet lets you set these colors). It did
under Dapper, but when I upgraded to Edgy both bars changed to the theme
color.

/usr/share/popularity-contest/default.conf ) it seems that the configuration
script failed to add the following line to /etc/popularity-contest.conf
