I checked the crash files and all of them have the 1.0.5 version, I
don't see any crash after the update to 1.0.7, looks like it's solved.
In case I have the issue again with the new version I'll update the bug.

I wasn't able to reproduce but it happened again more than once.
The
/home/doug/git/ElectionAnalysisSystem/projects/Eas.KafkaLogging/splunk-kafka-connect-v1.1.0.jar
file was scanned with no problem.

I think you need to unpack first:

Hey Mitchel, the file was generated automatically, that's the file I
have under the /var/crash folder, it's the same file as the link.

The problem happened again but I was not able to attach the file because
it's too big, added a link to it. See if that helps!

Thanks for checking-in. I was not able to reproduce the problem and
there is no coredump available under /var/crash. I have not changed any
configured in my system so if the problem happens again I will add more
information to this bug.

Got stuck at the splash screen while trying to shutdown, no response
from the system, had to forcefully shutdown. Looks like the issue is
related to clamav/clamd as we can see in the logs at 19:17:18 and
19:18:17.
