Same error in Pangolin. I've tried lots of solutions but no one is working.
Still affects transcode package.

when u install bootchart, you first need sun-java* installed and
selected via
sudo update-alternatives --config java
After that, you must consider that we are using an initrd system (like
Debian) so we need to regenerate initramfs for bootchart to works:
sudo update-initramfs -u -k kernel_name
of course..
I have a standard Lenovo n200 with few kernels from 2.6.24 to 2.6.26rc4..but i
usually hold the -generic one to make some tests.
With kernel 2.6.24 (vanilla) is all ok..with 2.6.24-17-generic is ok...problems
start with kernel > 2.6.25 with no output given (on crash)
lswh-->http://pa
I can confirm the bug even on kernel vanilla > 2.6.25
U can normally transfer files from devices to the system (and viceversa)
without X and everythink works great
With X running (and nvidia card) after few seconds the system got freeze with
no I/O log .
On recent 2.6.24-17 from ubuntu hardy ehc
Yes please..long time has passed

Have u tried to modify /etc/default/acpi-support ?
You ca nadd ipw3945 to this line:
# Add modules to this list to leave them in the kernel over suspend/resume
MODULES_WHITELIST="ipw3945"

speedstep_centrino i think is not present yet in kernel 2.6.20..
i have nothing in CPUFREQ_MODULE="" but the must important thing is setting
CPUFREQ_CONTROL="userspace"
to point kernel_modules to be used with a normal program in userspace
Sometimes inserting nolapic or noapic for linux to boot ma
yes, is the file i needed
normally you can find various interrupts at the same channel..but on some
bugged bios you can find an intel-interrupts that can damage irqrouting table,
so is better to deactivate the IO APIC system to avoid bad communications
between devices and BUS peripherals.
Try to
have u seen if audio uses another busy IRQ channel?
