Went away for a while but now it's back and like the Pete described when it's
back it's really bad. Right now it makes my system very unusable.
I'm running 9.10 with an ATI Radeon 5850 running fglrx. Oh, and I've got a
wireless Logitech mouse (MX1000).
Let me know if more info is required.

Forgot to mention that moving a window over it does not make it normal.
It stays till compiz is disabled.

I'm getting the same problem under Gutsy.
Sometimes I get a white screen sometimes only its shadow.
I've attached a screenshot but I'm not sure how helpful that will be as taking
screenshots appears to be broken as well.
You can see the problem in the part of the rectangle at 735,345 in the imag
