I am affected by this bug as well. I have a Samsung Ativ book 8 with Ati/Intel
hybrid graphics.
The workaround by peterriesde works for me (Thanks for that!). Thus turning off
the ATI part allows to suspend with the official kernel.

I have the same problem on a Dell M301z running Ubuntu 12.10. Forcing the low
graphics mode for Unity helped a bit, but is still slower than on other Laptops
(don't know the models) I've seen of friends of mine running the standard
configuration of Unity.

For me the same thing happens also when activating other Compiz plugins
in ccsm. After restart the plugin that I tried to enable works find. I'm

Just wanted to report that after upgrading from Maverick 10.10 to Natty
11.04 Beta 2 the card reader works out of the box for me on a M301z. The
latest official kernel on 10.10. still did not do the trick.

Following your comment that the problem could stem from Adobe Acrobat, I
just removed the Acrobat Reader package from my system. You were right,
now the bash-completion does behave normal. So the problems really seems
to come from Adobe Acrobat.
