I have had no choice but to roll back the whole system upgrade to a
previous backup.
It is a shame that probably the most important PBX is broken on probably

as many people can't reproduce it on i386

ATI mobility X700 card, fglrx driver. The mouse jumps to center on:
-xmoto (opengl)
-neverball/neverputt/etc (opengl)
-dosbox (??)

If it were only an opengl issue, why does the bug appear on dosbox? This

I must say that this has been really annoying.
I was downloading a large file (the Feisty ISO, but that's not relevant)
when firefox crashed because one of the Flash plugin bugs. I re-opened
it, restored the session and the download manager trash
Regressions are ugly, and some people will be disappointed to see that
their SD reader worked on Edgy but not on Feisty.
I think that, now that the modules are frozen, the best idea is to
include 0.8d in the backports, as Bernhard says.

I tried your solution (setpci + using 'sdhci' module), but it didn't
work.
I entered the setpci command with the correct address, modprobed sdhci,
and then inserted the SD card, but nothing happened. 'dmesg' does not
show any information about the SD card, it seems like it was't inserted.
Come on, let's be polite, okay? Nobody gets money for this, neither the
developers nor the testers. Fighting is not going to fix the bug.

For me, hibernating works almost perfectly (see audio problems on

I just tried suspending right now, while I was editing this comment, and

A few minutes ago I tried to copy a file from a DVD to the hard disk

Sorry not to give more information, I needed to report this bug because
it's kind of critical and I hope it's easy to solve.
I'm using gnome-power-manager since Dapper and it worked flawlessly. I
upgraded to Edgy Knot 3 with the upgrade-manager, and many things broke,
but all
fixed with today's updates!

I updated to Edgy from 6.06, where g-p-m worked flawlessly.
Now, when I unplug the power cord, g-p-m says that the battery level is
critical, even when it's not. I know it's not an acpi bug because acpi
works on the console:
