Public bug reported: Binary package hint: linux-image-2.6.20-13-generic
I just installed Feisty Beta on a friend's laptop and, after getting the last upgrades, no sound can be heard. Totem reports that "The requested audio output was not found. Please select another audio output in the Multimedia Systems Selector." It seems to play the audio file (the progress bar moves forward) but no sound can be heard. As this is not my computer it will be difficult to help finding the problem, but I can ask for some easy info (dmesg, etc) to my friend. Thanks.
