journal log?
I did not see an option to turn it off the excess logging.

Tried to upgrade a 17.04 to 18.04 beta 2, without wiping system. I
removed all directories on the SSD except home before the install.
Just error aborted on "grub-efi-amd64-signed failed to install"
SSD is formatted as 3 partitions, bios/swap/root

ncal in package 9.0.12+nmu1ubuntu1 doesn't work with week numbers in
classic mode.
ncal -w -b -3 should show weeks, it doesnt.
ncal works properly in 9.0.14ubuntu1, the fix needs back ported to
17.10 from 18.04 daily.

partition.
Does not see partition /dev/sda1 for me to choose as a boot partition.

shortcuts to be drag and dropped.
On right screen monitor, click dash, search terminal, drag terminal to unity
bar until "drop to add application: and nothing happens.

Binary package hint: nagvis
When you install nagios3/ndoutils/nagvis/mysql together, nagvis cant
connect to the DB with the normal default settings. This should work
out of the box, but errors due to a unconfigured nagvis.ini.php.
