(I think he used iChat on a Mac), Pidgin crashed as soon as he tried
starting the transfer.
Terminal output as follows. I did not actually "abort" the process (note

Actual laptop model is M541N. Ran the full suspend test in checkbox, the
wakeup from test #2 (suspend while AC disconnected) took me to GDM.
"Enable Networking" was unchecked in nm-applet after login.
