I have now managed to get tkcvs working on my system by installing the
default tk package, (sudo apt-get install tk).
Note - I already had tk8.4 installed, but tkcvs would not run without
the default tk package.

After update it is only stable in Unity 2d though crash of colord still
occured while in 2D. I had intermittent use of the keyboard as well in
3D. Removed AWN and screenapplets as well as removing ATI driver and
still crashes in 3D. Reinstalled ATI driver and only functions in 2D.

Aha, found my issue. I originally thought Arch didn't have libgnome-
desktop-2-11. Technically it doesn't, but it's provided by gnome-
desktop. Unfortunately I'm running gnome-desktop 3.0.0-1, so the same
bug will probably crop up on libgnome-desktop-3.

Yes, it probably would, though I don't think that is a major issue.
I think it is people taking it on, without realising how much work is
really required. Especially with the new P2 plugins system, simply

I managed to connect today. I did nothing special... I firstly failed to
connect to a unsecured network, but then after that failed, I tried the
WPA2 EAP-TTLS/PAP network, and it connected. NM still doesn't store
anything in the gnome-keyring, which seems broken in general. Will

wpa2-enterprise network, (works fine in Fedora 7, so I know network
manager *can* do it). I never got the various workarounds to work
either, though I have not had trouble using wpa_supplicant manually.

OpenOffice 2.2. Within seconds gs was using over 1gb of memory, and the
computer was extremely unresponsive.
