In 14.04 this problem still persists exactly as described here. I have
tested it on multiple machines (with Ubuntu and also with Mint 17.1).
Changing the parallel mode (ECP/EPP etc.) does not make a difference.
For those looking for a quick, rough solution: enabling force_nibble in
/etc/sane.d/can

is a faulty SMB implementation in the proprietary OS of the Freecom
Network drive. This is not a bug in Ubuntu.

openSUSE. Many times my Nikon D 7000 and Canon HF 11 are not seen or

I am using GNOME 2.22 on Ubuntu 8.04. If I have a partition 'A' of 40GB
and I accidentally delete 30 GB of data. It goes to Trash. Now, when I
try to copy-paste/cut-paste that data back to the same partition, it
says not enough space as trash is part of the same partition. In

I managed to switch from 24bit to 16bit. This fixed the problems with 3D but

After installing Ubuntu 8.04 and testing glxgears hoizontal lines are all over
the screen. Also, some videos are showing the same, e.g. www.zattoo.com. If I
remeber corrrect 7.04 worked fine.

hanging after several times (both - nm or WICD). the larger the data, the
shorter the runtime. Tried to use the driver from RALINK but compiling wasn't
