Apparently, I can define a custom "Launch Terminal" shortcut launching
gnome-terminal that does work (with the same key combination that's not

If you unpack the archive using the menu item folder choosing dialogue box
appears, and there is an option called "replace existing files".
But when using drag & drop the files get overwritten without any
previous warning, and no matter if

for example.

Got the same after jaunty->karmic upgrade. In my case adding "rfcomm
bind all" to /etc/rc.local was sufficient to solve this one.
I believe I've already done (4.) in the past.
All the configuration lines in rfcomm.conf are ended with semicolon in my case.
And the channel didn't change for me - it'

Since installing Karmic yesterday morning, happened twice for me, both
times on resume from a longerish suspend. On one shorter, ~2 minutes,
test suspend it didn't happen, though.

The indicated error in the jockey- seems to be caused by
jockey-backend script not finishing it's initialization stage, thus
doesn't respond to frontend requests.
The jockey-backend script appears to be hanging in
jockey.detection._get_printers(), while waiting on
cups.Connection().getDevices(). I
I'm sorry, I wrote that 2.6.24-20-386 works for me and I have Intel Core
2 Duo T5250, but kernel 2.6.24-20-generic DOESN"T WORK for me. That's
