OK GUYS i got the fix for this issue. i talked with the developers and told me that the problem is some bug in ia32libs. since ubuntu doesnt use any frame buffer like vesafb etc... it must use ia32libs because 64bit systems cant do 16bit code. it will probably work out of the box in the next relea

what you aren't understanding is, that vesafb-tng IS NOT compatabale with 64bit systems. so there must be vesafb for 64bit archituctures. so if its deprecated , then 64bit system will never have a vesafb modules unless vesafb-tng becomes compatable with 64bit systems. and thats the reason i know th

sorry for the terms i used, and i forgot a point and you also made a mistake. 64bit sytstems use vesafb , and vesafb-tng, so i doubt its deprecated, and thes issue is only on 64bit systems, on 32bit there isn't this problem. so the issue if the ubuntu team will continue using vesafb-tng on 64bit s
