With the intel 3945 I have about 30 seconds on full rate speed
700KBytes/sec and then it rapidly slows down to 100-130Kbytes/sec and

I tried to reproduce it but no luck. I have a crash when simply click
the apport-gtk icon in the panel. The error report was about nautilus if

Well with the last update (pulseaudio 1:0.9.16~test4-0ubuntu1) I get
almost the same results. Only VLC having sound (ALSA is the default). I
saw that I also have No recording. When playing music with Rhythmbox
can't hear anything as before but what is worse - the pulseaudio volume
mixer is decreasi

today I made the following: uninstalled all pulseaudio packages and
install some alsa mixer - and voilla' - all works, there's sound output.
Then I've reinstalled back the pulseaudio staff - and again got nothing
to hear(
