I can confirm that this is fixed for me (iwl3945) in jaunty, but not in
intrepid.
The error seems to lie in userspace, though. Installing the linux-
image-2.6.28-3-generic and linux-firmware from jaunty under intrepid
doesn't change anything.

I doubt that all these problems are really the same bug.
Please report your problems seperately. It is very likely that the initial
problem in the original bugreport is solved. Therefore I'm closing this bug.

The version number of the ndiswrapper-package should be in sync with the
version of the module in LUM in order to not confuse users too much.
Therefore I suggest uploading the corresponding version of the utils (I
know they don't really change throughout the releases as long as there
are no bugs)

I'm pretty sure not all of these firmwares may be distributed unter the
GPL.
