Was the ibus fix backported into 24.04? I just came across this bug
because the problem manifested itself in the Ghostty terminal.
After I upgraded to 24.10 the problem went away, but this should be
fixed also in the LTS release IMHO.

I also had this problem. The only solution that worked was to revert the
bluez-utils package to the Gutsy version.
Then receiving a file on the computer started working.

I also got this error while upgrading with update-manager... So no
console log.
Afterwards I manually unsinstalled emacs 21 and installed 22.. Seems
like there was a conflict.

I also have this problem on my HP nx6110.
I had it with Dapper and Edgy is the same.
When I do a clean boot, I can do a "tail -f /var/log/acpid" and see all
the events being thrown (ac on-line, off-line, thermal events, etc)...
If I resume from hibernate none of these events show. So, the battery
