/etc/default/locale or /etc/environment. An issue is that
getSystemDefaultLanguage() cant be None.
If locale is not defined in configs, probably it was setup from gdm prompt. So

Please visit System->Administration->Language support. Unfold 'Details'
and select 'Arabic'. You will see that u can install 'Additional Fonts'
there. So everything is here in order to take out 'extra' fonts from
ubuntu-desktop.
Once user need indian or japanise, he goes to 'Language Su

the problem is that system acts way faster once there is not a lot of fonts
installed there.
We have enought time for the next release in order to take care of this bug i
think.
What about my proposal to put fonts as a depends to language-pack-*
packages? That will be the simplest and good work

patch speedup a process for a while, but ideal way is to get rid of
insmod here and just compile acpi stuff in kernel. We are not gaining
nothing having them as modules once we are not dealing with apm stuff
anymore.

first of all, fix_log_ownership was doing per file chown instead of all
files at a time.
second, i wiped syslog uid detection in favor of defining user in
/etc/default/sysklogd
third, start-stop-daemon was trying to start sysklogd from syslogd
im confirming what Thierry Carrez was saying. Yesterday i made a
research of this problem and figure out that screen corruption happends
during loading of iwl3945 driver.
