Actually, I don't think it was the full 30 iterations, but all it said
was, "Do you want to report a bug?" No information, no package name,
just that and a Yes and No button.

Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: synaptic
When marking an application for installation, Synaptic freezes and grays out.
After a few minutes, it resumes its normal course of action (asking to resolve
any dependencies if there are any, for example). I also noticed that after

I don't think this is a duplicate. It's the libdrm-nouveau1a package that can't
install, not apport.
Apport just doesn't want to file bug reports due to an outdated package.
Also, manually updating via Synaptic resolves the issue.

Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: pm-utils
A rather unlikely situation I suppose, but apparently suspending and
resuming 30 times in a row flags the pm-utils package for a bug report

Just a few minutes ago, I launched Update Manager to install new updates. It
told me that some packages couldn't be installed and that I should do a partial

This occurs in Natty Narwhal Alpha 1. I was installing Chromium when
Apport told me Software Center has crashed and that the bug is already
known (so it pointed me here). The odd thing, though, is that the
Software Center window didn't go away...

I believe this is definitely something to do with the sound server being
shut off too quickly; I tried using the "play" command from the sox
package, and it still doesn't work (even on logout).
Here's my current /etc/gdm/PostSession/Default
