Qt translations (Maybe this:
https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/qttranslations-opensource-src) must be
installed for layout mirroring to work in KF-based apps (And maybe Qt-based
apps).
This should be done
Tested with ArchLinux and Midori is affected here.
