In the meanwhile, I changed the partition size of the root and home
partitions, allocating more space to root, since there was not enough
free space left for the download of system updates. In that process,

I have installed Ubuntu 19.04 in my Dell Inspiron 7373 and I am getting
issues with suspend. When I lock the case or write the "systemctl
suspend" command, the screen turn off, the system freeze and the laptop
keeps turned on. I need to force the laptop turn off and on again.
I did some experimentation today with different "stty cols" settings,

I have the same issue with a dell laptop Inspiron 15.
Step to reproduce:
Plug HDMI cable 4k ready, of course connected to 4k screen.
Actual result:
Purpul screen (default color of my background) on both screen...
To have any things displayed I need to use CTRL + ALT + F1.
Expected result:
