Before pulling in the new firmware, I tried the upstream kernel per the
wiki instructions I found in the Ubuntu wiki. The same problem existed
there. Now, I am running the artful kernel with the bionic firmware

Im sure screwing around with fine tuning /etc/default/tlp might yield a

Using the integrated intel chip (prime-select intel), I cannot log in to
the gnome desktop, screen flashes and returns to login prompt.
Using Nvidia (prime-select nvidia) I am able to log in, to an X session
(no wayland option yet

There's some nice tools to enable a faster SSD drive as cache for slower
HDD drives, tools like bcache, flashcache or dm-cache. The idea here is
enable support to use (one of) this tools to enable cache during
installation. I think support for servers would be better used than

I've created the workaround description (user marcin78 here) and as you can
clearly see, it refers to my Antergos installation being the last one writing
BIOS.

Wayland is now looking into this Dont know what they will do yet.In the
meantime I have found that if you insert (xhost si:localuser:root) into
start up applications it will work without having to do it in terminal
every time you start up.

I have been using Flashpeak-SlimJet as a browser, but it is not in the
repositories,
so I download the .deb file and use gdebi to install it.
The version of gdebi that Lubuntu Next installs is gdebi-kde, presumably
because LN uses Qt
