This bug seems a duplicate of https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/totem/+bug/1732204 Note: I always have the problem with .webm videos and sometimes with .mp4 I have some very small (200-300kB) video to reproduce the problem, if needed I may attach them (zipped?)
