I'm running 16.04 on a HP envy 17t I only have the problem if I lock the
screen, then hit switch user after that logging back in will cause mouse
to disappear. I can get it back quickly by ctrl+alt+t to get a terminal
and typing sudo then hitting the enter key.

This function should not be label as a wish, it should already be integrated.
It has been a part of iOS since forever (don't know about Android) and it is
extremely useful.
On large phones (like Meizu MX4, Pro 5 and others) you can drop your phone if
you try to take a picture with one hand.

Okay, so — in short — the problem was that the command `/usr/lib/x86_64
-linux-gnu/libgtk-3-0/gtk-query-immodules-3.0 --update-cache` wasn't run
upon distro upgrade. Actually, I'm not sure if it's a distro bug or not,
because in my case the distro-upgrade came not quite fine. I was having

Thanks again for the info. I will try the DAO function and is that doesn't
work, it must be the burner. I've had it for years, but it's probably

The problem seems to have gone away after I switched out my power supply
with a different one. I guess the bug is mobo, psu, and kernel dependent.

FYI, that indiactor-network branch requires the upcoming changes from
Tony's network-manager branch to build successfully (depends on a new

It seems like NetworkManager kills itself if there is something wrong in
the system. I face similar bug with connected serial port

Actually, I fixed it ;)
Tracking bugs by revision number works very well for upstream, and if
that interferes with Debian packaging then they would see that as
Debian's problem. In any case, I was given commit access to the Debian
repository recently, and made the fix in such a way that t

What you've added was probably the best solution even if I still don't
like what upstream has done with this.

This solution works on my laptop (ubuntu 16.04, but should work on previous OS):
open as root file
/etc/UPower/UPower.conf
and change IgnoreLid=false ==> IgnoreLid=true
save changes, restart system and now it works :-)
You can remove light-locker now.
You can use bash for these:
sudo sed -i -e 's/
same thing here with Ubuntu Mate 16.04. just installed package
'hibernate' which i guess pulled in uswusp.
i didnt see this mentioned previously but if i wait out the script it
eventually returns:
