Correction: What it really feels like is that Unity8 has hardcoded dx
and dy to be only one of {0,-1,+1}. So it feels like it's ignoring the

Followup to my #23, I traced:
strace -e open brasero 2>&1 | grep libdvdcss
and found that I had a copy of libdvdcss.so in /usr/local/lib
After removing this, it finds the library in /usr/lib, and I no longer
experience this problem.

this string on their command line:
--desktop_file_hint=unity8
because Unity8 will actually inspect the command line of the app.
