Actually in older versions the cpu usage % would increase as we
continuously refresh using F5, and the icons or the mouse pointer would
show loading symbol, but in 13.04 mouse is not showing the loading
symbol and not only that the cpu % in conky or multiload indicator are
not showing increase in c

The strange thing is that I'm pretty sure we've had 12.04 servers work
properly in the past. I've tried it with both 3.6.3-2ubuntu2.6 and

This bug is still present in Ubuntu 13.04 so I'm reopening it. I can
reproduce it on a fresh installation with a simple "ubuntu-bug apport"
then clicking send. The bug is still reported correctly, but this error
shows up in the terminal.

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make
Ubuntu better. However, I am closing it because the bug has been fixed
in later versions of Ubuntu. It won't be fixed in previous versions of
Ubuntu because Ubuntu 8.04 has reached EOL as of May 9, 2013. See

You need a NXP pn544 chip.
If Canonical receive Harris Beach ULT from Intel which has pn544 build in, you
can use it to test.
