Okay, this very day (and I mean literally within the past 24-36 hours,
most likely the lesser since it was less than 24 hours ago I last
updated) the keyboard shortcut for the Search (Find) function in gedit
has been changed. It is no longer Ctrl+F like it always has been. I
Ubuntu doesn't support Medibuntu.
I believe the "not really official but vaguely recommended" way to
install libdvdcss is to basically do what comment #5 says. See also

without removing the default system I have. But know this, If the web cam
breaks the Ubuntu 12.04 and 12.10 on a clean install process, I really
don't doubt it will break 13.04 too.

I ran shred on a hard drive (/dev/sdd) and then tried to run partprobe
to make the device node for its sole partition disappear (/dev/sdd1). It
was not mounted at the time. partprobe claimed to succeed, but in fact
it did nothing. Running "blockdev --rereadpt /dev/sdd" worked.
The problem appears only if ecryptfs is used. A workaround is to login into
your console before login with LXDM. After this you can logout from your

Besides I have problems with "samba" file settings isnot working and or
desappeared from file system, I remove the package and reinstalling
again, not working. even if I reinstall samba settings , it shows in
unity but after trying to open samba settings an error problem ocurr

when updating to kubuntu 12.10 the ultimate edition nautilus scripts

As far as I know, the dhcp standards do not allow for multiple
Domainnames to be set through Option 15. My LInksys router doesn't care,
though, and sends both the Domainname I gave it AND the Domainname my
ISP gives it. Maybe this is non-standard, but it is what it is.
