I've been running the updated packages (including the newest kdepimlibs
package update from yesterday) without any signs of regression. My
impression is that some system stability issues I was having are

After updating my system from lucid to precise the spacing of the font
used for gnome-terminal is completely messed up (see attached
screenshot). When I untick "Edit - Profile Preferences - General - Use
system font" (which enables Monospace 12 instead) the spacing is fixed.

services are configured, and "hosts" is one of them. DNS is *one* way
to look up hosts, but so is "files" (/etc/hosts) and "mdns4" (avahi).

have `alias ll='ls -al`, but the auto complete doesn't understand
aliases so I get the random extra space after the because it

I believe USB device with ID 0bda:0001 is also affected by this. This
device is part of a Combination PCI-E wifi/bluetooth card -
RTL8188CEB8. I'm having difficulty locating windows bluetooth drivers
for this device in order to extract firmware, however.
