i found this older bug report that describes a method which is i can
follow to reproduce the bug every time. simply using the "open file"
dialog will cause the crash to happen when you exit, weather or not you
cancel or actually open a file in that dialog.

I've only seen it the one time and I've not been able to get the system
to do it again. I agree that the correct string is in mountall.c and I
can't find and instances of the wrong one so I don't know how it got
shown.
