I've trying to do some lite work today fixing my conkys that got messed up from
stupidly installing 12.04 and had a freeze every 5-8 minutes for 2 hours, it
won't be long and I'll have to replace my reset button o.O I should have stayed
with 11.04.
Was using gedit and viewing my home folder only

When I plugin headphone jack both both speaker and headphone sound
simulteniously in UBUNTU 12.04 LTS. After removing the jack speaker
play. And if i click on sound setting, no volume is there. My laptop is
lenovo Y410. And speakers are of Realtek.

Right, and the usual procedure in these sort of circumstances is to wait
until upstream releases a version with the patch included, then when you
push the package update for Ubuntu for that version you can just add
(LP: {this bug number}) to the changelog and this'll be autoclosed.
Regardless, I'm
Upstream believes it's an Ubuntu-specific problem, as it's due to an
underlying kernel breakage and the "fix" is a workaround to the kernel
bug. I'm not convinced it's only in Ubuntu, but it's nevertheless not
exactly Wine's fault here.
I'm going to test and carry that workaround patch in our Win

.goutputstream files polluting $HOME

I second IMBJR (imbjr). I use Xubuntu 12.04. I never saw these in 11.10.
My home directory is also polluted with many of these .goutputstream-
XX in Thunar. They also appear in the CLI so it's not a GUI browser
problem. I don't know what is creating these but I will investigate. I'm
tempted to
Bug #883625 (about showing remaining time) seems to be related, as they
both need design (or at least feedback why we should not display them),
so it might help solving both of these at the same time.
