I do confirm this problem. The installation doesn't finish even when
Ubuntu installer says it does. I receive a grub problem when trying to
boot.

I experienced this error yesterday but have been having wireless issues

Although I can see from /var/log/syslog that it is disconnecting and
reconnecting, if I disable ipv6 with the following sysctl settings it

destected by usb-creator.

I am running kubuntu-desktop-i386 on a usb thumb drive.
In the prepare step, Immediatly after selecting the language and
clicking next, it tells me I do not have enough disk space.
I have a 4gig SSD on my dell mini 9. I also have an SD card, a
HPLIP is installed by default in OpenSUSE 11.4 but completely
untranslated. A (German) localisation without hazzle would be nice as
installing the printers is the first thing you do when you start your
freshly installed operating system.
