At the time I was using lucid, modprobe was not fixing the problem
because the hardware was not recognized by the driver (pci id's not
listed). Once id's are listed, first modprobe causes a if to be created
by udev scripts. This i/f is used by subsequent reboots. I can no
longer test lucid on this

I created a live session USB key from the Kubuntu desktop i386
20110329.1 image, natty-desktop-i386.iso, and installed from it. I
specified manual partitioning, putting "/" on a formatted btrfs system.
After rebooting I was unable to run "apt-get
I should mention that I am running Ubuntu Natty, fully updated.

I have just encountered this problem. I tried the workaround mentioned above:
$ sudo apt-get purge ia32-libs
$ sudo apt-get install flashplugin-nonfree
but it did not fix the problem for me.

pleasing results than prime numbers or multiples of 5. On your display

I did notice something kind of weird: If you go to a future date, all
your repeating tasks stack-up in the tasks area. It seems to not be
aware that you're looking into the future, it just assumes you're that
far behind in completing all those repeating tasks.
Note: I'm not saying this is a real

file a new bug to fix the tasks piling up issue. I'd appreciate if
someone could do that, feel free to mark it as NEW if you can.
