I still have this problem in Natty. Badly.
The "radeon modeset=0" (disabling KMS) workaround still works, sortof.
It reduces the frequency/amount of corruption. However, the underlying
problem is still there. ..and with Natty as it is, disabling KMS also
disables compositing, unlike with Maveri
This bug is fixed. Nevertheless, there is tons of combinaison which can
triggers the same effect, but not this bug :)
Can you please report a new one, with a steup-by-step (like, go to
workscape 1, open …, switch to…) to get a reproducible test case so that
I can reproduce it please? (subsribe me

Also i think its trying to display gdm not freezing. You just cant ctrl
alt del out of it because it brought down your keyboard. Once gdm loads
the keyboard would normally be brought back up. You should notice, or at
least it did for me the keyboard lights shutting off right after
plymouth finishes

Wow, that's very strange Timo, have tested it on 2 separate installs in
my eeepc 901, and neither is an issue. Which bios version are you
running, and is it (originally) the Linux or Windoze version of the
eeepc 901? I recall there was some very weird behaviour with some of the
bios versions...

sure I agree with your correction. I have removed that paragraph

I had fixed this by downgrading to xserver-xorg-input-wacom to
1:0.10.5-0ubuntu4 (lucid), as that was the only alternative available to
me. Today, however, an update came out for wacom-dkms (perhaps
unrelated)? I'm back to this behavior.
