Clint, when shutting down, the console doesn't show much. It shows
killing apache, a few other things, and then it stalls when trying to
shut down rabbitmq. I.e, it doesn't get any further, so sendsigs doesn't
get executed.
It's the 'rabbitmq-multi stop_all' that hangs. Seems it's waiting
forever
@Ihor, thanks for testing. Everything looks ok in the alsa-info as far
as I can tell, can you verify that external mic is still working with
the DKMS package installed? Just to verify that the error is not higher
up in the stack.

I have ubuntu 10.10 64bit and evince does not print to my HP3330
printer. Evince does print to my other printer (Epson inkjet). Open
Office and Firefox print to both printers.
The problem started with 10.10. All printing combinations worked in
10.04.
