As of this DATE 2010-07-25 on LinuxMint9 amd64 "also updated kernels as
of ubuntu version, mint doesn't do that" it seems partly fixed.
Writing a iso file to a 700mb nashua CDR works without a problem, it even
ejects the drive. The checksum of the written CD is also fine.

I'm experiencing the same behavior in yelp.
Interestingly, some of the menu items in yelp's help menu display
correctly (attachment).

* First, few time after kernel upgrade to 2.6.32-24, I got some programs
freezing and leading the computer to be unusable. I mean, there was not

Graphics almost work with old silicon motion SM712 card. However,
distorted lines appear on the screen. I will post a screenshot or

I tried enabling the NoAccel option for the xorg driver, but this did
not fix the problem.
That's great news. :-) Will the patch make it into the 10.04 version
and enter the repositories?

After installing the upgrades for USN-930-5 Firefox displays most
content in inverted colors.
Resetting gfx.color_management.mode from 1 to the default eliminates the
problem. However, the carefully created color profile is then not
