Kuba, usually only the initial release kernel an the latest updates kernel are

Here is a recipe for reproduction, I believe. As the Debian bug

mode but not with emacs's built-in python.el. The function causing

I just installed a daily build 2009-09-17 of Karmic Netbook Remix on MSI
Wind netbook (1024 x 600) and the install screens were too wide. The
"Forward" button was not visible.
If the installer was run from a LiveCD launched from the desktop then

was the reason for you being locked out.
To get the machine back running, I suggest booting up again in recovery

file an automatic bug report that will include the information necessary
to address this bug (including showing whether or not it's really this
same bug).

A new PPA version 2 package is available for emacs23 which contains the
result of the patch review for emacs22. All that's needed now is a text
file in debian/ explaining the steps to take for new upstream versions.
