Bart, this version fixed for amd64 works. My PPA successfully built
2:1.3.0.0.dfsg-12ubuntu12 on all 3 supported architectures. Ideally, I
would like all 3 x86emu patches to be tested by Debian, to ensure that

accessing a file encoded in one character set from a terminal / console
that uses another. ssh is doing its job exactly as it's supposed to. If
the file were on the local machine, but you were usin

I have a laptop with an internal CDrom drive. Because I have a dialup
connection, I purchased a set of repositories on disk. These were a DVD
set, so I purchased an external DVDrom

I am also getting this even in the Hardy kernel; however, only my
modifier keys ever get stuck down. Try doing anything productive with
'super' (or with 'shift', too, and firepaint!) held down. it renders
the desktop useless. I have to ctrl-alt-backspace to kill X; if I'm

On some computers I use, vncviewer treats alt+tab as remote machine
input and alternates between applications on the server, on others,
alt+tab alternates between apps on the local computer and effectively
disrupts vncviewer input so that input then goes to the terminal. This

I'm not sure what Daniel meant and i'm not sure which package actually
has the driver for hda-intel. Is that provided by alsa-source because I
was under the impression that was just for building it yourself but I
was able to get it working finally but just compiling the new 1.0.16
drivers from alsa

hi everyone:
i got some problems with my ipw3945. the wifi is working ok, but the
problem that i have is that the connection led (or the indicator that
the wifi is enable) it's not working! so i don't really know whats
happening. i don't know when the wifi is enable. i just depend on the
nm-applet

Having to install the nvidia driver from the module source package is a pain.
I was also unable to get madwifi working with gusty using the server kernel.
I've switch back to Fedora just because of this bug. Fedora has a PAE specific
kernel with nvidia + madwifi drivers for it using Livna.

the readahead hack sped everything up.. i would make a bootchart but i
have changed things, but the blackout after my gnome-panels dissapears
