I can play movies with ac3 or dts sound without any problems using
totem. In totem however I cannot get it to work. I can choose AC3
Passthrough in sound settings, but it has no effect. Furthermore this
setting is being reverted to "Stereo" when I restart totem.

I'll confirm this bug. I'm running an LVM2 volume of 2 drives, just for
media. They work fine when started manually, but the /dev/mapper items
aren't there when fsck checks during boot. In other works, similar to
Martin, except I didn't have the nifty workaround.

I did a fresh install of Gutsy a while ago, but I copied over my .gnome2
folder (including gconf) and others from my old Feisty* installation.
This seems to have caused the "no plots" problem for me as well, but
running that "gconftool-2 --recursive-unset /apps/gnumeric" command

Note the ATI driver hasn't solved my Hibernation problem - computer
still refuses to go to sleep but now when it returns everything looks
fine and I can now (ocasionally) see a message popup saying something
