I have the same problem. I thought XUBUNTU would work normal with 128MB RAM as
is stated on many pages but that is just not true. It works much slower than XP
does.

I am using Mozilla Firefox on Ubuntu 7.10 Gutsy Gibbon.
When I press the F10-key, it does not open the menu or switch focus to

Firefox does this on Windows.

I am getting the same problem with Gutsy using Thin Clients (PC)
Immediately after a default installation or after doing updates, same
result :
- the first user connected use usb stick without problem
- when a second user logs in, his usb stick is not mounted automatically
- if the first user rem

it seems as though my cycle count is quite high as well (HP Pavilion
ze2308wm) however I have found a setting in the BIOS that may have

I do confirm this issue on Acer TravelMate 3210 partially solved
stopping networking service.
Why partially solved. Because network manager loop requesting to unlock
keyring but pressing Esc solve this problem. Restoring from Hibernate

This occurs for me on Gutsy though more than just the window title.
If I play a local file from my library the following occurs:
1) Notification icon changes to indicate playback

I just want to add that this bug has appear to me, i'm using Ubuntu 7.10
Gutsy Gibbon, Qtparted 0.4.5-cvs, and my disk is a Maxtor 6Y080L0.
Please check this bug, because i need to check the disk partitions using this
program.

I also have the same problem, with my laptop and the extended desktop,
mouse movements on the extended desktop do not stop the screensaver from
activating.
I am using laptop with external monitor as extended desktop and AGP
Radeons their fglrx driver.

Nop the problem doesn't exist anymore for the simple reason that the option
doesn't exist anymore...
It seems that it's not possible to print in landscape with the new version or I
didn't find where to choose this option.

Just to complicate matters somewhat, I *don't* see this bug. I'm using
nvidia-glx-new, a 7600Go, and two DFPs with dynamic twinview. There's
no noticable delay in the gtk popups on either screen.

I too am having this same issue (found this via the thread on the Ubuntu
