HI Henrik, no unfortunately. I was quite busy for the past month. i was
in the process of changing jobs/towns. i had gutsy installed my work pc.
now i'm using a dell 640m and i just don't have the time now to test
tribe cd's because i really need to be productive with stable software.

Ubuntu for that webcam.And they conflicts.Temp solution is sudo modprobe
-r zc0301 and sudo modprobe -r gspca.Then load gspca again:sudo modprobe
gspca. Now webcam should work. Every kernel update i remove

the last kernel update rewrote the menu.lst file. what are the rules which uuid
is used for the new entry?
i had entries with two different uuid in it (pointing to two different
partitions one with 704 and with 710) - it did take the wrong one (704
partition) for the new 710 kernel!

I tested the following things on current gutsy amd64 with the PPA
packages:

* libpam-foreground functionality
* cups web UI (uses PAM)
* passwd changing
* passwd locking and unlocking

Those were successful.
I also highly appreciate the fixing of the default ulimits. Howev

Started from a fresh install of Tribe 5 on my laptop. A few days ago
(possibly the 5th) I've had to use the failsafe session. After today's
updates failsafe won't even work. Same error in my .xsession-errors as
Adam. Using failsafe-xterm until I find a work around.

Can't log in after upgrading
After booting a few times to test things out the same error appeared
again. It seems to pop up pretty much randomly. The uncaught interrupt
comes from a USB controller that has no devices attached to it. The BIOS
won't allow disabling USB controllers so there is not much that can be

I also had this problem on a recently upgraded Toshiba A100 series
laptop. All worked fine on Dapper. I upgraded through Edgy to Feisty
(2.6.20) in the last couple of days and had this USB mouse problem.

The latest `update-manager -d` from Feisty is now prompting to remove

With recent updates to X it appears it may have broken the "legacy
fullscreen option" under compiz. I'm using nvidia 7600gs with nvidia-
glx drivers running steam via wine. Checkboxing "legacy fullscreen
support" use to make the app full
I couldn't find an official definition in a minute or so of googling,
but it's basically where the release is supported (in security updates
and critical bug fixes) for 3 years on the desktop and 5 on the server.
That's the basic idea, but I may be missing something somewhere.
For future questions
Also confirmed on nvidia 7600gs running gusty with nvidia-glx and
running apps such as glxgears or warsow will crash X sig term 11 and
force it to restart.
