I 'resumed' the computer, and opened firefox. As soon as i opened firefox

I just encountered this bug after installing lvm2 and lvm-common on
Feisty today. Both solutions work to resolve the problem, though I have
not rebooted to see if the modeul for solution two is automatically
inserted or if I have to run this every time I boot.

Hey! I just spoke with the GNU Aspell team. This isn't a bug, there is
an option in KMenu->System Settings->Regional & Language->Spell Checker.
Select the "Consider run-together words as spelling errors". This will

Meh; I wouldn't if I were you.
Nano is the default because it's a fairly straightforward editor to use.
But vim or emacs (or indeed, even a traditional vi) are much, much more
powerful.
First thing I do whenever I install Ubuntu is to install vim-full or
vim-gnome. :)

I installed Ubuntu 7.04 on my IBM ThinkPad R60 laptop.
After installation when I click on the 'network connection' icon on the
top right panel, it displays all the wireless networks available and

I just came across this issue in Feisty, apparently its still there.
A workaround I'm using is to place a link in this secure path to the
command I want to run where it already exists on the filesystem.

Actually that time I didn't :-O . But I just tried it commenting out the
mode lines with the Nvidia (Proprietary) driver. Worked like a charm
automatically come up at 1900x1200 . Acutally this is how Fedora Core
does there X configurations. They list no mode lines for resolution and
just read off t

Steps to replicate:
1. Connect iPod to a Mac
2. Restore the iPod (in iTunes, select the iPod, click Restore and follow the
prompts)
3. Accept the default name suggested for the iPod - it should be of the form
"’s iPod"
4. Eject the iPod
5. Connect iPod to Ubuntu machine
6. Eject the iPod
Result
Further testing suggests that it is the "’" character causing the
problem. Naming the device "Foo Pod" works fine, but "Foo’Pod" does
not.
