Hey! I just spoke with the GNU Aspell team. This isn't a bug, there is an option in KMenu->System Settings->Regional & Language->Spell Checker. Select the "Consider run-together words as spelling errors". This will fix the issue. So, this really isn't a bug after all, however I don't want to close this all the way out, so I am going to change the title and set it as a wishlist bug. I will email the dev lists and see what they think about setting this to enabled by default.
BTW, upstream closed the bug, so when it refreshes don't be surprised :) ** Changed in: aspell (Ubuntu) Importance: Medium => Wishlist -- KMail Spell Checker identifies words without spaces between them as correct https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/110255 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
