When I suspend then resume on an A31 Thinkpad with a Lucent Wavelan
card, the Wavelan card's network interface is no longer configured.
The problem is in /etc/acpi/suspend.d/55-down-interfaces.sh. "pccardctl

Hello,
There was a scripting error in /etc/init.d/avahi-daemon (at least on
feisty). I have attached the fixed /etc/init.d/avahi-daemon script file.
Now /etc/init.d/avahi-daemon start will start the daemon.
Would someone please include this as a patch after verification.

I am having the same problem with Canon LBP 4U printer. The error was
occurring with cjet (recommended) driver. With the instructions given

Almost instant start up now. I figured out that when I removed my startup
script of $ sudo echo cpufreq_ondemand >> /etc/modules I had messed up the
startup. Now that I added that back in and with Powersave installed and
powernowd and apmd uninstalled I no longer have shutdown

You should use APT or a frontend to it to remove default apps; Aptitude
can be problematic. If you think nautilus-sendto shouldn't depend on
Gaim, please file a bug with it.

My media buttons are detected in the Global Shortcuts and the mute,
volume up, and volume down work for the system. Pause/Play, track
buttons, and stop does not work with Amarok. Amarok is the best, and
it's awful not having this feature. Hope this gets fixed soon.
