network. When I enter the plain text passpharse network manager is
unable to connect to the network, but when I tried tried the psk

Machine 2 - Using ATI Rage 128 Card.
Both of these are hooked to Dell 2005FPW monitors (16:9 resolution) and
exhibit the same "top and bottom cut off" issue. I am using the
D-SUB/VGA connection.
I should note that this is only with aptitude's text mode gui. aptitude
from the command line (aptitude update, aptitude dist-upgrade, aptitude

Nautilus failes w/o notification when copying files with
Confirmed that hangs my ethernet card (broadcom 4401) and my wifi card
(atheros 5005), and can be anytime, before or after disabling the usb
ports. Did someome tried with a custom made kernel? 2.6.16? tried with
Edgy?

I have used Automatix, but not to fix this problem. I fixed this by
uninstalling and reinstalling several gnome components. Unfortunately, I
don't remember which ones. I believe it may have been the
gnome-control-center which uninstalled many other things with it.

This started to affect my USB mouse recently, so on a hunch I decided to
recompile totem without lirc support - This seems to have solved the
problem for me completely.

After installing the syslinux package, the syslinux command fails as
mcopy from the mtools package is not available.
mtools should be a dependency of the syslinux package as it is required
for syslinux to work.
