We regret having to inform the community that the IJCAI Organization and
the Local Arrangements Committee had no choice but to pull out of Cape
Town at this stage. This is a very unfortunate and regrettable turn of
events, but an agreement with the designated venue could not be
IJCAI calls for nominations for its 2023 awards. These awards include
the Computer and Thought Award, the John McCarthy Award, and the
Research Excellence Award. The 2023 IJCAI Award Committee Chair is
Professor Maria Gini, University of Minnesota, USA.
