You don't have to enable JavaScript in HttpCli !
You have to enable Java
I'm still converting programs from D7/ICS V7 of D2009/ICS V7
As I can remember, this propertie was not available in the ICS V5 version I
worked with.
How should I use this?
Can THttpCli detect the authentication method itself or do I need to set it
?

In a service application, a TSslHttpCli is polling on a server.
The server delays the answer for about 20s unless a message becomes
available.
If the user loggs of on the computer (not switch user), then the httpCli
stops working correctly.
