Happy update. Resolved my issues with at least the Sennheiser Urbanite
XL Wireless by disconnecting from my android phone before trying to
connect to Ubuntu 16.04. I'll take it.

I have the Meizu mx4 near me: Start a video (Media Player) then lock the
screen (stops the video/sound as expected).
I see the following behaviour (I think it's consistent):
a) Pressing the capacitive button within a second or two after screen lock, the
mx4 responds to the capacitive button and h
plain old 15.04 OTA-10.1. Note that my music player behaves as per
Marko's original description.
