After some experimentation I've found that with no 'linux-image-extra-
virtual' package installed (whether it's installed or not makes no

I had installed latest kernel release from Ubuntu and it worked. However it
showed acpi power control problem at booting time. And I had already logged
a bug on this. "Failed to set initial power state"
